In today’s world energy is a growing topic - how we use it, generate it and what to do with the waste? Over my 7 years, as the COO of fast growing ThinkHR.com, I started to focus on how to best optimize my personal energy and the energy of co-workers and loved ones.
Now as a leader at L.A.B. Solutions, I strive to have my energy aligned with being in service to others and engage in everything with love and understanding. I live a plant-based lifestyle which has been a journey of questioning and changing beliefs.
At L.A.B. Solutions, we aim to be the action for change we wish to see in the world. We strive to emanate compassion, discernment, and virtue, while dismantling false belief systems and being a source of trusted food solutions and information based on data, rather than outdated beliefs. Each week, I am going to highlight a false belief system around Food and Energy identified by what I call “Cauliflower Moments”.
The “Cauliflower Moment” idea emanated from a personal moment 6 years ago when I started trying to research for deeper truth in questions I had about food, health and life issues I was facing. I was reading about nutrients in food and came across an article about the amazing nutrients in cauliflower. Now, I’ll be truthful here, up until this moment I hated cauliflower. It stunk when it was cooked, it was soggy and had a bland taste. I remembered as a child refusing to eat it because I just didn’t like anything about it. Now I was reading that it was on a list of one of the healthiest foods to eat. I opened my mind and read about the health benefits, diving deeper into the science to figure out what it had that was so good for our health. False beliefs gone, willing to try it again…
We chose Cauliflower Mashed “Potatoes”. Wow! Couldn’t believe that this was really healthy for me – so creamy and so unbelievably good! Thus, the start of my ”Cauliflower Moments” - defined as those moments where you realize you believed something that was dead wrong.
Join us on this journey to abundance at the L.A.B. I hope this first message of “Weekly Signals at the L.A.B.” stokes your fire to question more of your beliefs! What beliefs do you question? Where did they come from and why do you believe them?
We would love to hear back from you on some questions you have around food and health!
